Catwalk
This time last week, I was on my way home after spending the most amazing day at Somerset House,at Fashion Weekend with Niki from Petitepip. It was sick day, from the moment we entered the venue, the place was buzzing with fashionably dressed guys and gals. Me and Niki were in awe of the place, that we actually didn't know where to start!! the place was like a maze.We did get our pics taken by a blogger from Fashion Babylon, so I guess that was a good start to the day.
We window shopped alot, which wasn't our preferred choice, but even discounted designer items we couldn't afford the vast amount of goodies. It wasn't all bad though, I managed to snag myself some cath kidston-esque purses and bags.
Paying for the full priced ticket had it perks. Not only did we get to shop, but we got a goody bag(seen here) but most importantly we got access to the catwalk.I really felt like I was a fashion insider;the catwalk was hosted by the lovely Caroline Flack and we got to view 5 great individual collections.
Holly Furton- who used bold colours and geometric prints in her collection. Primrose- very on trend with the pastels seen in many of the pieces and specifically focused on collars;Antipodium- which was my favourite along with Holly Furton, brought East London to the catwalk.
Game on- which was very on trend with the sport luxe trend, it had an 90's/old school feel to the collection.Last but not least,Jasper Conran- collection was sleek, understated and focused on the structure and small details of many of the pieces. I would post a video of it,but my SD card became corrupted so I can only view the catwalk on my camera...weird. Ah well, head over to Petitepip for catwalk pics!
It was an eye opening day, and I will be going in September, hopefully with more cash in my pocket. Have any of you ever been to Fashion weekend?

Looks like it was fun! What ebay shops did you get your clothes from? I always look for clothes and they're all from korean/chinese stores and they wouldn't fit me. :(
